A new year is always a year of endless possibilities and opportunities. What a great way to wipe the sheet clean, to start over, put some goals and emotions, and get some new resolutions working. 

Although this list should cover all aspects of your life that will make you stronger, healthier and happier, in this specific post, I’m going to outline some New Year’s resolutions that will help you achieve healthy and glowing skin.

Even if you have already an established skincare routine that suits you, it’s a good idea to see if there are areas that could be improved. Remember that your skin and your appearance will be the reflection of the effort and time you have invested. 

Here are 6 glowing skin resolutions you can add to your 2020 list…


  1.   Find out your unconscious habits that sabotage your efforts

Before adding something new to your skincare routine, first, you have to find out and get over the habits that are sabotaging all of your efforts to achieve great skin. Just realizing and getting rid of these habits will make a huge difference in how your skin looks.


  1.   Exercise your face 

Although what we apply on our skin is important, our skincare routine should begin with its deeper layers. Since you have muscles underneath the skin of your face, you must work out your face in the same way that you work out your body.

Regular practice of facial exercises guarantees you a facelift, reduces wrinkles, and makes your skin radiant due to improved lymphatic drainage and blood circulation.   1.   Wash your face every night

  1.   Wear sunscreen daily

Studies have proven that 90% of aging skin is due to sunlight exposure. This means that no matter how much we need the sun, we still need to protect our skin by wearing sunscreen. Regularly wearing sunscreen protects your skin from harmful UVA / UVB rays and prevents the appearance of sunspots. Be sure to use a sunscreen with an SPF 30 or higher, even in the winter months. 

These are my New Year’s resolutions for glowing and youthful skin for 2020. You can follow them all, or you can pick a few of them, whatever speaks to you. I just wanted to compile the skincare steps that are needed to get great skin, and I hope this helps you achieve your desired face.
